La Eco Warmis enseña en los colegios cómo se puede reciclar
The Eco Warmis, a group of single mothers and young mothers, have taken their mission to teach recycling and waste sorting to schools. The response has been overwhelming, with schools welcoming them and students eager to join this community working to improve the planet.
This group is made up of mothers who work mornings, afternoons or all day long. They explain that the work is not easy, as sorting through waste requires a lot of effort, dedicating one to two hours per container.
The group’s leaders teach them how to identify what can be recycled, and the members gradually learn the craft. The income from recycling is not much, but it helps. Now they are asking for support to be able to educate themselves, as many of the leaders confess that some members cannot read.
